Ingredients:
- 500g mutton pieces
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 2 tablespoons Suhana Mutton Masala
- 1/2 cup grated coconut
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Recipe:
- Roast poppy and sesame seeds in a dry pan until golden brown. Grind them with grated coconut into a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pan, sauté chopped onions until golden brown, and add ginger-garlic paste.
- Add pureed tomatoes and cook until oil separates from the masala.
- Stir in Suhana (Meat) Mutton Masala, ground coconut-poppy-sesame paste, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add mutton pieces, sear until browned, and add enough water to cover the mutton.
- Simmer until the mutton is tender and the masala thickens.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with naan or steamed rice.
